Job summary

Qualifications

  • BASLP or MASLP degree required.
  • Freshers welcome.
  • Experience in pediatric neurodevelopmental rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing assessments.
  • Identify receptive and expressive language difficulties.
  • Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based speech language therapy for pediatric clients.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
  • Counsel caregivers and train families in home-based strategies.

Job description

Our Early Intervention Center is amultidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation setup dedicated to comprehensive assessment,intervention, and family-centered care for children with neurodevelopmentaldisorders from 0–13 years of age.

The Speech Language Pathologist will beresponsible for assessment, diagnosis, intervention planning, therapyimplementation, caregiver counseling, and multidisciplinary coordination forchildren with communication, speech, language, feeding, and social interactiondifficulties.

The position offers extensive clinicalexposure in pediatric neurodevelopmental rehabilitation with opportunities forinterdisciplinary learning, advanced therapeutic approaches, academicdiscussions, and community outreach program.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment & Evaluation
  • Conduct detailed speech, language,communication, feeding, and swallowing assessments
  • Identify receptive and expressivelanguage difficulties
  • Assess articulation, phonology, fluency,voice, and social communication skills
  • Evaluate prelinguistic andpre-communication skills in young children
  • Perform oral motor and feedingassessments
  • Develop individualized therapy goals andtreatment plans
2. Therapy & Intervention

Provide evidence-based intervention including:

Speech & Language Therapy
  • Language stimulation therapy
  • Receptive and expressive languageintervention
  • Articulation and phonological therapy
  • Fluency shaping and stutteringintervention
  • Pragmatic and social communicationtraining
Feeding & Oral Placement Therapy
  • Oral motor stimulation
  • Feeding intervention for sensory andmotor feeding difficulties
  • Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) approachesusing specialized feeding kits and tools
AAC & Communication Support
  • Use of Augmentative and AlternativeCommunication (AAC) systems
  • PECS/AWAS and picture-based communication systems
  • Visual schedules and communication aids
Technology-Assisted Therapy
  • Therapy through game-oriented digitalapplications
  • Use of immersive and semi-immersivetherapy environments
  • Virtual reality-based engagementactivities for communication and interaction enhancement
3. Multidisciplinary Coordination
  • Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, doctors, anddevelopmental therapists
  • Participate in interdisciplinary caseplanning and goal setting
  • Contribute to holistic rehabilitationplanning and outcome monitoring
4. Parent Counseling & Family Training
  • Conduct parent guidance and counselingsessions
  • Educate caregivers regarding home-basedlanguage stimulation and communication strategies
  • Train families in feeding techniques,behavior support, and AAC usage
  • Support family-centered interventionapproaches
