Job Description

The Specialty Nurse – ICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced clinical support. The involves assessing patient conditions, administering prescribed medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with emergency interventions, and coordinating with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams. The nurse maintains accurate clinical documentation, follows critical care protocols, and supports patient stabilization, safety, and recovery.

• Assess critically ill patients and identify immediate nursing care needs.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and relevant clinical parameters.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, and neurological status.
• Administer prescribed medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments.
• Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy and ventilatory support within the scope of practice.
• Assist physicians during bedside procedures and emergency interventions.
