Job summary

Zydushospitals in Ahmedabad is seeking an Associate Nurse for CathLab to support catheterization and other cardiac procedures. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient comfort, safety, and optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates are State-registered nurse-midwives with GN/MSc/BSc qualifications and 1–6+ years of experience, ready for shifts, with strong communication and teamwork skills. On-site hospital role with infection control commitment.

Qualifications

State-registered nurse-midwife with graduate qualification (GNM/BSc/MSc) from an approved nursing college.
1–6+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation and cardiac procedures.
Take patient’s vital signs, oxygen levels and heart rhythm.
Ensure patient’s chart and records are updated.
Monitor patient’s vital signs during the procedure.
Administer medication according to the physician’s instructions before, during and after cardiac procedures.
Assist during emergencies and perform lifesaving procedures.
Adhere departmental safety and quality procedures; respond to patient concerns and questions.
Educate patient on the catheterization procedure and what it involves.
Implement infection control practices.
