Responsabilités

• Coordinate nursing activities in the cath lab.
• Prepare the cath lab and verify readiness for scheduled procedures.
• Review patient preparation, consent, and required documentation.
• Assess patients before procedures and establish baseline observations.
• Guide junior cath lab nurses in patient-care responsibilities.
• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile and aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within professional scope.
• Support ECG and hemodynamic monitoring as assigned.
• Observe for complications and elevate concerns promptly.
• Ensure availability of emergency equipment and resuscitation supplies.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other clinical teams.
• Monitor stock levels of catheters, instruments, medications, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and nursing documentation.
• Coordinate post-procedure monitoring and patient transfer.
• Ensure adherence to radiation-safety and infection-control practices.
• Support equipment checks, quality audits, and accreditation activities.
• Train and guide junior nursing staff on cath lab protocols.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
