Job summary

Pacific Group of Companies in Mumbai is seeking a vigilant Staff Accountant to join our finance team for day shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM IST. You will manage a small team, review day-to-day accounting operations for designated clients, and ensure timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has some F&A outsourcing experience, strong English communication, and the ability to learn new software quickly. This role requires teamwork and adherence to SLAs and TATs.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&A outsourcing environment preferred.
• Must be able to learn new software and processes quickly.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 2 to 3 Staff Accountants.
• Operate, support and review day-to-day accounting operations for designated clients.
• Experience in small and midsize accounting.
• Collaborate with supervisor and designated clients on daily functions.
• Interact with clients via email and phone as required.
• Resolve queries within established turnaround times (TATs).
• Document processes as SOPs when required.
• Train new resources when needed.
• Perform day-to-day accounting duties including reviewing financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports based on KRAs and ensure accuracy of month-end procedures.
