Job summary

Cognet Hr Solutions is seeking an experienced Team Lead – US Finance & Accounting (F&A) to lead a team of processors handling US client accounting, including GL, bank reconciliations, and P&L reviews. Night shift, work from office.

Requires 6–9 years in US Accounting, direct US client exposure, strong communication, and ability to mentor a 10–12 person team. Open to night shift, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in US Accounting/US F&A.
• Hands-on experience managing a team of 10–12 processors.
• Experience working with US clients and night shift availability.
• Strong knowledge of Bank Reconciliation, General Ledger, and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end US accounting activities, including GL, bank reconciliations, and P&L review.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close activities.
• Collaborate with US clients to resolve accounting queries.
• Maintain compliance with US accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare financial reports and support audits.
• Identify process improvements and mentor the team.

Job Title: Team Lead US F&A

Location: Work from Office (No Hybrid / WFH / Remote)
Shift: Night Shift 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – US Finance & Accounting (F&A) with strong exposure to US accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience handling US clients and managed a team of 12 processors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end US accounting activities, including:
  




• Bank Reconciliation


• General Ledger (GL) accounting


• Profit & Loss (P&L) review and analysis




• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities


• Work closely with US clients to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies


• Maintain compliance with US accounting standards and company policies


• Prepare financial reports and support audits when required


• Identify process improvements and support team mentoring when needed

Required Experience & Skills

• 6–9 years of experience in US Accounting / US F&A


• Strong process knowledge in US Accounting and good team handling skills. Managed a team of 10-12 processors


• Worked for US clients and open to work in night shift
