Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Specialist for SCM - Source, Manufacturing & Relationship Management to manage inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams. The role focuses on implementing control procedures, auditing variances, and presenting performance reports.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in demand planning, supplier management, and use of advanced planning tools like Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, and O9.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level education in business, engineering, logistics, or SCM.
• Master’s or professional certifications in supply chain management are preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of inventory planning and procurement processes.
• Experience in applying advanced planning tools in large-scale operations.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and process improvement mindset.
• Familiarity with APICS, ISM certifications is a plus.
• Knowledge of retail/ manufacturing supply chain ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise and up-to-date inventory records across all stock locations.
• Monitor inventory levels and analyze trends to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to plan replenishment.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to reduce discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits to identify variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory performance and key metrics.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize inventory management and costs.
