Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Specialist - SCM focused on inventory control and supply chain stewardship to join our Source, Manufacturing & Relationship Management team. You will maintain stock accuracy across locations and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.

This role requires a background in supply chain or industrial engineering and certifications like CPIM/CSCP. You will analyze trends, conduct audits, present performance reports, and drive process improvements to cut

Qualifications

• Degree in business, industrial engineering, logistics or supply chain management.
• Master's in operations management preferred.
• Certifications in APICS, ISM or CSP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise and up-to-date inventory records across all stock locations.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze trends and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to plan timely replenishment.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to reduce discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits to identify variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory performance, trends and key metrics for management decisions.
• Suggest process improvements to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
