Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Specialist (Procurement) to assist customers with price quotes from publishers and update them in ERP systems within SLA. You will liaise with SoftwareOne’s subsidiaries and publishers, driving growth with accuracy and speed.

The role involves handling price inquiries, coordinating renewals, and leveraging publisher expertise to enhance customer relationships and operational efficiency across activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or supply chain
• Excellent written & verbal skills
• 4-7 years’ experience in software procurement and customer-facing roles
• Experience collaborating with vendors such as Adobe, AWS, Citrix, ServiceNow, and Oracle will be an added advantage
• Proficiency/knowledge of MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat
• Curiosity about attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prioritize quotes from publishers and suppliers.
• Maintain basic level knowledge of service and solution offerings and be a customer-facing resource for sales activities.
• Research and gather all vital information to complete tasks.
• Communicate promptly and effectively via emails, reports, and reminders.
• Achieve organizational goals by adopting new and diverse requests and finding opportunities to improve job performance.
• Support requests from customers, partners, sales representatives, and other operations team members.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve procurement objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with publishers and distributors.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on publisher’s products and licensing for internal contacts and customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Lead multiple tasks simultaneously, completing work within allocated time frames as an individual contributor.
