Job summary

Genpact is seeking an experienced procurement and finance professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities for goods and services in a dynamic corporate environment.

You will handle quotations, RFP/RFX/RFQ processes, and e-auctions, while supporting S2P and P2P operations. The role requires strong vendor management, contract drafting, and savings tracking to meet client procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in accounting/finance fields.
• Relevant certifications in accounting and finance are preferred.
• Experience with procurement processes and ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Experience in procurement of goods and services, obtaining quotations, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts of low to moderate value/risk.
• Manage RFP/RFX/RFQ via ERP/procurement tools and e-auction processes.
• Support S2P and P2P upstream/downstream sourcing activities.
• Coordinate with operational teams to track savings opportunities and contract compliance.
• Draft contracts and manage approvals per SOP and client instructions.
• Record savings in client savings database and prepare reporting.

Job Description Role and Responsibilities:

• Experience in Procurement of goods and services obtaining quotations develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements.
• Good understanding and experience on RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool based sourcing.
• Understanding of e Auction is mandatory.
• Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process namely S2 P and P2 P process.
• Should have good know how on the IT related category (both hardware and software).
• Also exposure to European market will be preferred.
• Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels
• Manage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase orders
• Quotation analysis and recommendations consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines
• Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projects
• Support Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions and as per SOP.
• Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base
• Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities
• Work closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts
• Assumes additional responsibilities: as assigned with the procurement remit eg analysis / reporting etc
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency add value aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
