Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad is seeking a Specialist in Supply Chain - Procurement to drive supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and procurement excellence. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to secure timely and cost‑effective sourcing solutions.

Ideal candidates will bring deep knowledge of accounts payable, contract management, and data-driven decision making, with familiarity in SAP and Power Apps, in a hybrid India work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Analytics.
• Experience in procurement and supplier management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and market analysis to meet organizational procurement needs.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and pricing models to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and maximize cost efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance, proactively resolving discrepancies, risks, or service issues to maintain consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing requirements and ensure timely procurement solutions.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices to enhance sourcing strategies and procurement effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports on supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement activities to support decision‑making and compliance.
