Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A - AP in India to join a fast-moving team responsible for AP processing, including PO and Non-PO invoices, and vendor reconciliations. You will ensure accuracy in AP records and drive process improvements.

The role requires English proficiency (Upper Intermediate - B2) and offers a hybrid work setup with night shifts in India, reflecting our global delivery model and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters in finance, accounting, or commerce disciplines.
• Professional finance/accounting credentials are advantageous.
• Experience with AP processes and ERP systems preferred.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
