Genpact in India is seeking a Specialist - F&A - AP to join our finance team and help manage the accounts payable lifecycle. You will post invoices, process PO and non-PO invoices, verify data, and support vendor payments with accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance (and a Master's in Finance is a plus), with strong English (C2) and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Masters in Finance preferred.
• Strong English language skills (C2).
• Experience with AP processes and vendor payments beneficial.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
