Job summary

Genpact in India seeks an Accounts Payable professional to review and process invoices, validate essential invoice details, and release payments accurately. The role supports timely pay runs and coordination with customers, while following AP guidelines and compliance policies.

The position requires a strong foundation in accounting/commerce/finance degrees and relevant AP experience, with fluency in English. Hybrid work in India is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce/economics/finance or Master's in Finance.
• Experience with AP processes and invoice payments.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices.
• Validate essentials of valid invoices (supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice number/date).
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately.
• Ensure pay runs are completed as agreed with customers.
• Follow up on requisitions to resolve invoice issues per AP guidelines.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce helpdesk queries.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and guidelines.

Job Description

Review and process invoices along with providing the resolutions.

Review and validate basic essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date etc.

Release the invoices for Payment timely and accurately.

Ensure that all pay run gets completed as agreed with the customer.

Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets ) to solve invoice issues as per the AP guideline.

Able to think through how to reduce helpdesk queries and help in process improvements.

Adhere the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities.

Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices / queries are handled as per the guidelines.
