Job summary

LTM is seeking an experienced SCCM Administrator to support Windows Server OS environments and enterprise data centers. The role focuses on SCCM administration, packaging, deployment, and patching at scale, with scripting to automate tasks and improve service delivery.

You will manage SCCM policies, perform upgrades, coordinate change control, and ensure accurate documentation. The position involves daily production coordination and on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server Operating System support across Windows Server 2003/2008/2010/2016/2019 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration, software packaging and deployment at scale.
• Proficient in scripting for TCP/IP packaging and automation.
• Ability to manage SCCM policies, documentation and change control procedures.
• Understanding enterprise data center technologies including networking, data security, TCP/IP, SAN and ancillary datacenter best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide SCCM-driven installation, configuration, patching data, reporting and health status for Windows Server OS and applications.
• Manage SCCM policies and documentation; coordinate and implement upgrades or changes.
• Lead lifecycle management for SCCM patching (monthly/quarterly/semiannual).
• Coordinate daily production and change management activities and ensure proper signoffs for changes.
• Create reports in SCCM for patching status and client health; support rollout of SCCM server clients.
• Perform general system administration in Windows Active Directory environment and ensure proper documentation.
• Drive process improvements through automation and standardized operational procedures.

Job Description

• Provide application Windows Server OS installation configuration patching data reporting application install status client health leveraging Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager


• Manage SCCM policies and documentation


• Leads and plans upgrades changes or implementations for System Center Configuration Manager Components while following established change control procedures


• Responsible for coordinating and implementing Configuration management for the project andor organization maintaining the resulting product throughout its lifecycle


• Through understanding of enterprise data center technologies such as networking data security Transmission Control Protocol Internet Protocol TCPIP SAN and physical datacenter best practices sufficient to resolve hardware software interface and interoperability problems and administer and support technical operating system and enterprise data


• Perform general system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment


• Lead and drive definition implementation and enforcement of systems administration operational processes procedures policies and associated documentation


• Research identify and drive the implementation of innovative approaches to system administration tasks with a focus on automation error reduction and service improvement


• Managing the Windows Server image application packaging and scripting and related project work


• Monthly Quarterly deployment of security patches to Windows Servers


• Create various reporting through SCCM for Patching Status and Client health


• Coordinate on daily production and change management


• Ensure the correct implementation of changes and request necessary signoffs


• Own the SCCM monthly quarterly and semiannually patching lifecycle


• Manage the deployment of software updates and security patches in accordance with the company patching standards


• Support on the rollout of SCCM Server clients


• Support for the Windows Server environment that includes Microsoft Server OS Support for Windows 2003 2008 2010 2016 2019


• Expected to resolve critical issues quickly in circumstances of major outages Provide OnCall Support as and when required


• As a Subject Matter Expert you are required to from time to time provide consultation to the customer in terms of technology and service improvement plans


• The job requires handling Escalations and providing updates and resolution for complex and pending issues


• Provide Root Cause Analysis for critical issues and participate in internal and client calls and ensure appropriate communication and collaboration as necessary


• You would be required to coordinate and work with other Leads and teams and assist in effective delivery of service


• Ensure all important and necessary documentation are in place and enable team member to create relevant infrastructure documents and validate maintain them


• Have regular interaction with the team as necessary helping the team to build their technical capabilities and in turn improve the overall service delivery and satisfaction of the client
