Job summary

Birlasoft in Noida, India, is seeking a Specialist-Business Excellence to lead strategic BE initiatives and improve profitability through rigorous quality management. You will drive a foundational BE delivery model across business units, support delivery teams with process improvements and automation, and publish client-focused dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems at the organisational level and implement improvements.
• Understand costing models of different projects and drive profitability improvements.
• Drive a BE delivery model across business units via Quality Management System adoption.
• Support delivery teams to drive BE initiatives, process automation, track project quality, raise red flags, and mitigate risks.
• Publish reports/dashboards on project and initiative requirements.
• Provide inputs for RFPs with quality philosophy and process details.
• Ensure compliance to signed off SOWs, SLAs, metrics, and avoid penalties.
• Publish dashboards based on client requirements for projects and improvements.
• Identify predictive metrics to track quality and SLA slippage; track actions and closures.
• Communicate organisation-wide initiatives and changes.

SPECIALIZATION - Operations

• Work on strategic initiatives at the organisation level by analysing the problems and implementing the improvements.
• Well versed to understand costing model of different type of projects and come up with the improvements in profitability.
• Drive a strong, foundational business excellence delivery model across BUs via adoption of the organisational Quality Management System
• Support Delivery teams to drive BE initiatives-process improvements/ automation, track quality at project (account and BU level), raise red flags and propose plans to mitigate risks,
• Publish reports/dashboards basis client specific requirements on project, improvement initiatives, as required
• Provide inputs for RFPs(E.g. quality philosophy, process and expertise to customers) as required
• Ensure compliance to signed off SOWs (SLAs, Metrics etc.) and ensure no associated penalties levied on the process
• Publish reports/dashboards basis client specific requirements on project, improvement initiatives, as required
• Provide inputs for RFPs(E.g. quality philosophy, process and expertise to customers) as required
• Monitor tools usage across Project /Program Management, Productivity Improvement, Project sizing and estimations and drive improvement to strengthen dependency on the tools for delivery success
• Identify and propose predictive metrics basis the organisation capability baselining/delivery capabilities to track project quality and SLA slippage, identify potential issues, track actions and closures
• Organisation level communication on the initiatives taken and working on change implementation.
