Job summary

Samvith Technologies seeks an experienced AM/Manager for Component Development & Material Management in Peenya, Bangalore. The role requires hands-on hydraulic component development, DFM reviews, and strong GD&T skills. You will drive RFQ coordination, prototype progression, and supplier development to meet project milestones.

Applicants should have BE Mechanical or DME with 10+ years of relevant experience, with SAP knowledge preferred. Immediate joining or 1-month notice is requested.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in hydraulic component development and machining.
• Ability to participate in DFM reviews and address manufacturing constraints.
• Good understanding of GD&T and APQP/PPAP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of machined, forged, cast, fabricated, welded, and hydraulic components.
• Coordinate RFQ and technical feasibility reviews.
• Drive prototype development, validation, and production readiness.
• Ensure component development milestones align with project timelines.
• Coordinate process prove-out activities.
• Ensure supplier manufacturing processes meet product and process requirements.
• Responsible for lead time and cost.
• Oversee Manufacturing Processes: Machining, Casting, Forging, Fabrication, Welding, Heat Treatment.

Position : AM / Manager Component Development & Material Management

Looking for a candidate with a 1-month notice period or Immediate joining,

Experience : BE Mechanical / DME with 10+ years of relevant

1. Hands-on experience in hydraulic component development and machining using CNC and VMC machines.
2. Active participation in DFM reviews and the ability to provide feedback on manufacturing constraints.
3. Good understanding of GD&T.
4. Experience in preparing APQP and PPAP documentation.
5. Experience in supplier audits and supplier development.
6. Ability to prepare zero-based component cost estimates.
