Job summary

Samvith Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to lead costing for machining and fabrication projects from Peenya, Bangalore. The role requires a Diploma/BE in Mechanical and 6–10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on accurate estimates, vendor coordination, and timely project delivery.

You will coordinate with design, production and procurement teams, maintain costing databases and support scheduling. The position is on-site, 6-days work week, with no transport or canteen provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in mechanical projects.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 for costing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical drawings, specs, and RFQs to prepare cost estimates for machining/fabrication.
• Coordinate with design, production and procurement for inputs to planning and costing.
• Prepare detailed project proposals with cost breakdowns and timelines.
• Evaluate materials, suppliers, and subcontractors for cost efficiency and quality.
• Maintain costing databases and update records for future reference.
• Support scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Ensure estimates and plans comply with standards and customer needs.
• Assist in risk assessments and contingency measures.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers for smooth execution.
