Job summary

Cloud Kinetics is seeking an experienced Windows Server administrator in Chennai to configure and maintain Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) and Network Load Balancing (NLB), ensuring maximum uptime for critical business workloads.

Responsibilities include Server Lifecycle Management (installing and updating Windows Server OS and hardware), Identity & Access Management (Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP), and migration planning.

Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and maintain Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) and Network Load Balancing (NLB) for high availability of critical workloads.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server OS (2012, 2016/2019/2022) and associated hardware.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and user permissions.
• Plan and execute migrations; validate inputs and runbooks for Windows Server migrations.
• Support migration of Windows Server from on-premises to AWS Cloud; provision AWS resources.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues; build automation for issue resolution.
• Monitor system performance using diagnostic tools; resolve L2/L3 escalations.

Identity & Access Management

• Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs),DNS, DHCP, and user permissions Identity & Access Management

Migration Planning & Execution

• Review/Validate inputs on which servers/groups can bemigrated in progressive migration and migration
• Review and support on Runbooks for window server migration
