Job summary

SHI is seeking a Windows Administrator to join Hyderabad-based IT operations. The candidate will manage Windows Server environments, AD/Identity, and M365 migrations, with strong focus on security hardening, hybrid identity, and Intune management.

6+ years of experience, Afternoon/General Shift, and readiness to support Azure migrations and endpoint deployments are desired. This role requires solid troubleshooting across on-prem and cloud components.

Qualifications

• Administer and support Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 environments.
• Configure Active Directory Domain Services and manage users, groups, and GPOs.
• Assist migrations to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Manage Intune enrolment and policy configuration.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, replication and network connectivity.
• Assist with Azure migration and post-migration health checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows Server health, patching and hardening.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot OS and infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate with network and security teams during migrations.
• Support hybrid identity and MFA/Conditional Access configurations.
• Configure Teams and OneDrive governance in M365 tenants.

Windows Server Administration

• Administer and support Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows servers.
• Monitor server performance, availability, and system health.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating system and infrastructure issues.
• Perform server hardening and security best practices.
• Manage Windows Failover Clustering and File Services where applicable.

Active Directory & Identity Management

• Administer and Migration of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
• Create and manage users, groups, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Troubleshoot authentication, DNS, DHCP, and replication issues.
• Support Azure AD Connect synchronization.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, and devices.

• Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies.

Microsoft 365 Migration
