Job summary

SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a Windows Administrator/O365/Messaging - L2 / L2+ with 6+ years of experience to manage Windows Server environments and Hybrid Identity.

The role covers AD DS, Azure AD Connect, MFA, and Microsoft 365 migrations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams. The candidate will also handle Intune device enrollment, endpoint configuration, and Azure migration activities, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-availability

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Windows Server administration experience.
• Experience with AD DS, group policy, DNS/DHCP.
• Migration experience to Exchange Online / Microsoft 365.
• Identity and device management using Intune and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

Windows Server Administration

• Administer and support Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows servers.
• Monitor server performance, availability, and system health.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating system and infrastructure issues.
• Perform server hardening and security best practices.
• Manage Windows Failover Clustering and File Services where applicable.

Active Directory & Identity Management

• Administer and Migration of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
• Create and manage users, groups, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Troubleshoot authentication, DNS, DHCP, and replication issues.
• Support Azure AD Connect synchronization.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, and devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot Hybrid Identity.
• Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies.

Microsoft 365 Migration

• Support migrations to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Assist with mailbox migrations and user onboarding.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Outlook connectivity, and licensing issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

Endpoint Management

• Support Microsoft Intune device enrolment and management.
• Deploy applications using Intune.
• Configure compliance policies and configuration profiles.
• Support Windows Autopilot deployments.
• Troubleshoot endpoint compliance and application deployment issues.
• Manage BitLocker and Windows Update for Business policies.

Infrastructure & Networking

• Manage DNS, DHCP, DFS, and File Servers.
• Support TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall-related troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot server and network connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with network and security teams during migration activities.

Azure Migration

• Assist with migration of on-premises Windows servers to Microsoft Azure.
• Perform Azure Migrate assessments and migration activities.
• Support Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Storage.
• Configure Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, and VPN connectivity.
• Validate migrated workloads and perform post-migration health checks.
• Support Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
