New Vision Softcom & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd is seeking a senior ServiceNow CoE Platform Architect in Pune to define platform architecture, guardrails and integration standards across the ServiceNow ecosystem.

You will balance strategic platform ownership with hands-on engineering across administration, development, security, integrations, data architecture and performance, while coordinating with business and delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions.

Role / Job Summary

We are seeking a senior, hands‑on ServiceNow Centre of Excellence (CoE) Platform Architect to define platform architecture, engineering guardrails and integration standards across the ServiceNow ecosystem. The role will combine strategic platform ownership with practical technical leadership across administration, custom development, security, integrations, data architecture, performance and upgrades.

The successful candidate will partner with business, enterprise architecture, security and delivery teams to convert requirements into scalable, secure and supportable ServiceNow solutions while protecting platform integrity and reducing technical debt.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture, technical roadmap, platform standards and governance model for the ServiceNow platform.
• Lead solution design and architecture reviews across native capabilities, scoped applications, workflows, workspaces, integrations and data migration.
• Design secure integrations using REST (Representational State Transfer), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), MID (Management, Instrumentation and Discovery) Server, OAuth 2.0 (Open Authorization 2.0), certificates and approved credential patterns.
• Establish security architecture covering ACLs (Access Control Lists), roles, least‑privilege access, segregation of duties and secure development practices.
• Provide architecture oversight for CMDB (Configuration Management Database), CSDM (Common Service Data Model), IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine), discovery sources and data quality controls.
• Guide Service Catalog, automation and configurable workspace solutions using UI (User Interface) Builder.
• Define automated testing strategy using ATF (Automated Test Framework), regression packs, quality gates and release controls.
• Oversee application and plugin lifecycle management, instance strategy, update‑set or application‑repository practices and environment promotion.
• Lead platform performance analysis, troubleshooting, root‑cause resolution and remediation of technical debt.
• Assess ServiceNow upgrades and releases, identify technical and functional impacts, coordinate remediation and support production readiness.
• Mentor developers and administrators, conduct design and code reviews, and drive Centre of Excellence adoption across delivery teams.
• Create and maintain architecture decisions, solution designs, integration specifications, operational runbooks and platform standards.

Must‑Have Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant ServiceNow experience, including substantial hands‑on architecture, administration and development responsibilities.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Glide APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and platform debugging.
• Proven implementation experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Demonstrated integration architecture experience using REST and SOAP web services, MID Server and enterprise middleware patterns.
• Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, certificate‑based security, credentials, aliases and secure integration design.
• Advanced experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, coalescing, data validation and high‑volume data integrations.
• Strong understanding of ACLs, roles, groups, domain considerations and ServiceNow security architecture.
• Working architecture knowledge of CMDB, CSDM and IRE concepts, including identification rules, reconciliation and data quality.
• Hands‑on expertise in Service Catalog design, request fulfilment and workflow automation.
• Experience architecting UI Builder and configurable workspace solutions.
• Experience implementing ATF suites and regression automation.
• Scoped application design and development experience, including cross‑scope access and application boundaries.
• Experience managing applications, plugins, dependencies and platform lifecycle controls.
• Proven capability in performance optimization, troubleshooting and platform health improvement.
• Experience planning and executing ServiceNow upgrades, reviewing skipped changes and conducting technical impact assessments.
• Ability to communicate architecture decisions clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) credentials.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
• Architecture experience across ITSM (Information Technology Service Management), ITOM (Information Technology Operations Management), CSM (Customer Service Management), SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management), IRM (Integrated Risk Management) or SecOps (Security Operations).
• Experience establishing or operating a ServiceNow Centre of Excellence, Architecture Review Board or design authority.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Performance Analytics, Instance Scan, HealthScan and platform observability practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps (Development and Operations), source control, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and ServiceNow application repository practices.
• Experience in consulting or large enterprise environments with multiple delivery partners and complex stakeholder governance.

Experience Required

8–10 years of relevant ServiceNow experience. The candidate must demonstrate recent, hands‑on platform architecture and engineering expertise rather than purely managerial or advisory experience.
