Solidworks Design Engineer

Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a design engineer to independently design sheet metal parts and assemblies, and develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and BOMs for sheet metal projects.

You will follow the Product Engineering process, redesign existing products to improve manufacturability and reduce costs, and contribute to design and process FMEAs to minimize launch issues. ECN prep and documentation are key, with client and internal interface at every step.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and convert 2D to 3D and vice versa swiftly.
