Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Indore invites a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex components using SolidWorks. You will produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and guide junior engineers while ensuring performance and reliability.

Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams, you will drive DFx processes, conduct design reviews, and prepare technical documentation including BOMs and reports.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks for part modeling, assemblies, and detailing.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Extensive experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create, review, and approve detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership and design guidance to junior and mid-level design engineers.
• Perform and review design calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization.

• Support troubleshooting of design-related issues during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
• Continuously improve design processes, standards, and best practices across the engineering team.
