Solar Sales Representative (B2B)

Job summary

JobsKart is seeking an experienced Solar Sales professional to build B2B relationships, identify decision-makers, and close solar EPC deals in Jaipur. You will conduct client meetings, assess electricity needs, present ROI-focused proposals, and coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth handovers.

The role requires 2+ years in solar sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a valid driving licence with willingness to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar Sales / Solar EPC / Renewable Energy Sales.
• Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
• Good understanding of rooftop solar systems and basic solar economics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong local market knowledge and networking ability in Jaipur.
• Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
• Graduate/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop B2B leads from commercial, industrial, institutional and other business customers.
• Identify and connect with business owners, CXOs, plant heads, facility managers, procurement teams and decision-makers.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and understand electricity consumption and solar requirements.
• Present Solar EPC solutions, ROI, payback and cost-saving benefits to customers.
• Prepare quotations/proposals in coordination with the technical team and drive them towards closure.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and build long-term customer relationships.
• Coordinate with engineering, execution and operations teams for smooth project handover.
• Maintain sales pipeline, customer database and daily activity reports.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
