Job summary

Freyr Energy is seeking a proactive Solar Installer to join our team in Indore. You will handle end-to-end installation of residential solar projects, ensuring quality execution per approved designs and company standards, while working on-site and coordinating with customers.

The role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to travel for site work. Prior solar experience is a plus as we deliver customized rooftop solar systems nationwide.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations or related electrical work is preferred.
• Strong ownership and a passion for quality results are expected.
• Prior solar installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation of residential solar sites per approved DPR.
• Handle material shifting and site readiness.
• Install structures, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverters.
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing.
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System).
• Provide system explanations and basic training to customers.
• Ensure SOPs are followed with proper documentation.

This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete installation of assigned residential solar sites as per the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR)
• Handle material shifting and site readiness
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System)
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers
• Ensure all SOPs are followed, including pre- and post-installation documentation

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or related electrical work preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Good oral and written communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• Strong ownership with a passion for delivering high‑quality results
• Willingness to learn, upskill, and undertake tasks such as site surveys and material inspection
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in solar installation or renewable energy projects
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage
