Job summary

Freyr Energy is seeking a proactive Solar Installer to join our on-site team for end-to-end installation of residential solar projects. You will ensure quality execution as per approved designs and company standards, handling structures, wiring, RMS configuration, and customer training.

The role requires 0–2 years of electrical installation experience, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations or related electrical work is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively and strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation of assigned residential solar sites as per the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR).
• Handle material shifting and site readiness.
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems.
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing.
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System).
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed, including pre- and post-installation documentation.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance,or related electrical work preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Good oral and written communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• Strong ownership with a passion for delivering high-quality results
• Willingness to learn, upskill, and undertake tasks such as sitesurveys and material inspection
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in solar installation orrenewable energy projects
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage
