Job summary

Freyr Energy in India is seeking a hands-on Solar Installation Technician to complete residential site installations as per the DPR. You will handle site readiness, install structures, modules, earthing, cabling and inverter systems, and configure RMS.

You will provide system explanations and basic training to customers, ensure SOPs and documentation are followed, and participate in site surveys and material inspection.

• Handle material shifting and site readiness.
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems.
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing.
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System).
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed, including pre- and post-installation documentation.

Requirements

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or related electrical work preferred
• Willingness to travel extensivelyGood oral and written communication skills

• Willingness to learn, upskill, and undertake tasks such as site surveys and material inspection
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
