Job summary

Freyr Energy Services is seeking a proactive Solar Installer to lead end-to-end residential solar installations in Pune. The role focuses on executing installations as per approved designs, ensuring safety, quality, and proper on-site documentation.

Travel to sites is expected as part of the job. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of electrical installation experience, a relevant diploma or ITI, and strong communication and ownership to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma.
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations or related electrical work preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ownership with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
• Willingness to learn, upskill and undertake tasks such as site surveys and material inspection.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation of assigned residential solar sites as per the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR).
• Handle material shifting and site readiness.
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems.
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing.
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System).
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed, including pre- and post-installation documentation.
