Job summary

Freyr Energy is seeking a field-oriented Solar Installation Technician to handle residential solar system deployments. You will follow the Detailed Project Report, manage logistics to keep sites ready, and assemble modules, mounting structures, wiring, grounding, and inverters.

You’ll also set up RMS and train customers on operation. The role requires 0–2 years of relevant electrical work, a completed Class 12/ITI/Diploma plus a 3‑month skill course, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete installation of residential solar projects following the Detailed Project Report.
• Manage logistics for material transportation and site readiness.
• Assemble and install mounting structures, solar modules, grounding, cabling, and inverters.
• Perform civil tasks like foundations and earthing pits.
• Configure and activate the Remote Monitoring System (RMS).
• Provide client orientation and basic operational training on the system.
• Follow SOPs and maintain documentation for pre- and post-install phases

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete installation of residential solar projects following the specifications outlined in the approved Detailed Project Report.
• Manage logistics for material transportation and ensure all sites are fully prepared and ready for installation activities.
• Assemble and install critical system components, including mounting structures, solar modules, grounding systems, cabling, and inverters.
• Perform necessary civil engineering tasks, such as constructing foundations for structures and earthing pits.
• Configure and activate the Remote Monitoring System (RMS) to ensure real-time system tracking.
• Conduct comprehensive orientation sessions for clients, explaining system functionality and providing basic operational training.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation for both pre-installation and post-installation phases.
