Job summary

Freyr Energy is seeking a proactive Solar Installer to join our on-site team for end-to-end installation of residential solar projects. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work at customer locations in India.

You will perform site readiness, install structures, modules, cabling, and inverters, and ensure quality per DPR and company standards while providing basic training to customers.

Qualifications

• Completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma.
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installations or related electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation of residential solar sites as per approved DPR.
• Handle material shifting and site readiness.
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems.
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing.
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System).
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers.
• Ensure SOPs with pre- and post-installation documentation.

This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete installation of assigned residential solar sites as per the approved Detailed Project Report (DPR)
• Handle material shifting and site readiness
• Install structure, modules, earthing, cabling, and inverter systems
• Execute civil works including foundations for structure and earthing
• Configure RMS (Remote Monitoring System)
• Provide system explanation and basic training to customers
• Ensure all SOPs are followed, including pre- and post-installation documentation

Requirements

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 / ITI / Diploma
• Completion of a 3-month Skill Development Course
• 0â2 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or related electrical work preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Good oral and written communication skills
