Job summary

Mployee.me in Mumbai, India is seeking a Customer Support Associate to assist clients using our business software via phone, email, and remote sessions. You will understand issues, reproduce them, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve problems while contributing to product improvements.

Comprehensive training will be provided to help you learn the software, support processes, testing, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Preference for MBA/B.Com/BBA/BMS/M.Com degrees.
• 1–3 years in operations, supply chain, customer-facing, testing, or similar roles.
• Interest in business software, system workflows, and functional testing.
• Good communication and ability to interact with customers.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide support to customers using our business software through phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Understand customer issues, reproduce them in the system, and coordinate internally to resolve them.
• Participate in internal discussions to understand customer requirements and product improvements.
• Perform functional testing of software modules before release.
• Document issues, feedback, and testing observations for the development team.
• Assist the team in software configuration and setup for new customers.
• After gaining familiarity with the software, assist in implementation for new clients, including system setup and user training.
• Implementation and training activities may be conducted online or by travelling to the client locations when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA/ B.Com / BBA / BMS/ M.Com graduates preferred.
• Candidates with up to 1 -3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, customer facing, testing, application support, or similar roles.
• Interest in business software, system workflows, and functional testing.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and analyse issues logically.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers when required.
• Comfortable working with computers, software applications, and Excel.
• Willingness to learn software implementation and assist with client onboarding and training over time.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve the product.
