Job summary

Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions
Work within a feature team to engineer complex software, scripts, and tools
Liaise with engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform
Produce complex and critical software rapidly and to a high quality
Work in permanent teams responsible for the full software life cycle, from initial development through enhancement, maintenance, replacement, or decommissioning
Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability

Requirements

Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture
Understanding of how the area of expertise supports customers
Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis
8+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development within complex, large-scale environments
Expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications
Track record of solving complex business and engineering challenges
Hands‑on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, cloud‑native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modernization of legacy enterprise platforms
Strong experience with Sybase and PostgreSQL databases
Experience with distributed caching technologies such as Oracle Coherence
Experience with performance optimization of data‑intensive applications
Strong ownership and analytical skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions
