Job summary

Qualifications

Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Data JPA, ORM are required.
Microservice and MVC architecture-based development experience is needed.
REST API development experience is essential.
Cloud SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Spanner, Postgres are required.
UI tech: JSF (PrimeFaces), JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, JSP.
JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins are important.
GCP Professional Architect Cloud Certified or Associate Cloud Engineer Certified would set you apart.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Oversee the technology team, interview and select people, motivate and inspire the team, and drive retention and employee engagement
• Provide software engineers constant feedback and prepare individual development plans for succession or new seniority positions
• Ensure delivery quality and prioritize initiatives oriented to reliability, code smells, technical debt, and bugs
• Define quality strategy and quality techniques/frameworks, including BDD, TDD, FDD, and test automation
• Oversee delivery-flow processes and controls across discovery, development, testing, approval, and implementation phases
• Ensure stability, performance, and maintenance of organizational systems
• Improve team efficiency using availability, cloud cost, throughput, lead time, and blockage metrics
• Balance indicators according to defined goals and raise the need for additional resources as needed
• Facilitate integration between product teams and client-focused company areas by defining responsibilities and agreements
• Systematically optimize workflow and communication
