Software Engineer (AI & Power Platform)

Job Summary

This Software Engineer is focused on AI-enabled, agentic solutions and the Microsoft Power Platform to the enterprise. Software Engineers design, build, integrate, and operate scalable, secure, and compliant solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and cloud-native services, while applying contemporary software engineering practices such as Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Engineers partner closely with product, data, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions—from discovery and architecture through deployment, telemetry, and continuous improvement—while aligning to enterprise governance, Responsible AI principles, and risk management expectations. You will extend the traditional Software Engineer discipline and incorporate low-code / rapid development patterns and platform stewardship adapted specifically for Microsoft’s Power Platform and agentic AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze business problems, translating them into well-architected technical solutions.
• Design and implement solutions using iterative, test-driven, and Agile methodologies.
• Build agentic AI solutions, including orchestration of multi-step workflows, tool/action invocation, and human-in-the-loop patterns using Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
• Develop applications and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrate with enterprise systems via APIs and connectors.
• Ensure production-ready code and configurations with appropriate monitoring, logging, security, and performance considerations.
• Collaborate in a multi-vendor, distributed delivery model and contribute to shared engineering standards and reusable components.

Skills And Background You’ll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience: 5-12 years of experience.

• Independently delivers complex features and end-to-end solutions.
• Applies seasoned judgment to agentic workflows, Power Platform applications, and integrations, while contributing to design discussions and mentoring less-experienced engineers.
• Full understanding of software engineering practices, Power Platform capabilities, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Works on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of multiple technical and business factors.
• Wide-ranging expertise in Power Platform, cloud services, and AI solution patterns.
• Deep expertise in agentic AI systems, orchestration patterns, and enterprise Power Platform architecture.
• Influences company-wide engineering principles, standards, and roadmaps.
• Key Technologies & Platforms: Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio.
• Agentic and generative AI systems with workflow orchestration and governance
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred), REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
• DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring
