Job Summary
The Manager, Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) is a hands‑on delivery leader responsible for architecting, delivering, and scaling intelligent process automation solutions that help The Standard become the workplace benefit provider of choice. The role designs and ships production‑grade automations on the UiPath platform, combining robotic process automation with document understanding, agentic automation, and generative AI. It partners closely with IT delivery teams, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, govern a healthy pipeline, and deliver scalable, well‑integrated automation products. The role balances strategic technical leadership with active coaching, code review, and solution design, ensuring automations are well‑designed, achievable, secure, and scalable.
Work Location and Mode of Working
- Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement.
- Hybrid work model: primary base in Bengaluru with opportunities for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience within IT and 3+ years managing IT employees. Experience leading high‑performing automation or engineering teams is required.
- Proven success delivering intelligent process automation solutions into production and managing complex delivery portfolios.
- Experience establishing or scaling an automation Center of Excellence (CoE), including intake, pipeline governance, reusable components, and delivery standards.
- Experience with developing Citizen Developer communities, engagement, oversight, and governance.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices, and modern software engineering and release‑management principles.
- Experience applying Enterprise AI governance frameworks, including AI gateway integrations that enable monitoring, compliance, security controls, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience leading enterprise IPA operations, ensuring platform reliability, service delivery, governance compliance, continuous improvement, and seamless transition of production automations to Run and Maintenance teams.
Technical Expertise
- UiPath platform: deep knowledge and/or hands‑on expertise across UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Insights, IXP (Intelligent Extraction Processing). Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere experience may be transferrable.
- Intelligent document and communications processing: UiPath Document Understanding and IXP / Communications Mining for extracting and structuring data from documents and communications.
- AI and agentic automation: UiPath AI Center, Agent Builder, and Maestro; integrating machine learning models, Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) into automation workflows.
- Discovery and analytics: Process Mining, Task Mining, Test Cloud, and Insights to identify, validate, and measure automation opportunities.
- Programming: strong foundation in VB.NET and C#, with working knowledge of Python and JavaScript for custom activities, expressions, and platform extensions.
- Integration: REST and SOAP APIs, UiPath Integration Service, authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys), and JSON/XML handling for connecting automations to enterprise systems.
- Data: enterprise data platforms, SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL data stores.
- Cloud and DevOps: cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and Automation Ops for governance, security, and lifecycle management.
- Certifications preferred: UiPath Automation Solution Architect Professional, UiPath Automation Developer Professional, or equivalent.

- Ability to manage budgets, resources, vendor and partner relationships.
- Excellent analytical, strategic‑planning, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.
