Job summary

Euromonitor International in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on software developer to design and build high-quality web applications and enterprise systems using .NET and Python. You will work with experienced developers and business partners to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions that support strategic decisions.

You will be part of a Scrum team, shaping architecture, contributing to design, testing, and documentation, and mentoring juniors while promoting SOLID, BDD, TDD and DDD practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience building microservices, web apps or console apps.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API or .NET Core, plus Flask or FastAPI.
• Front-end experience with React and Angular.
• Experience with ORM (Entity Framework) and Git version control.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, with knowledge of Kubernetes and related tools.
• Strong OOP foundations and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design applications around end-user needs and translate business requirements into clear, easy-to-use solutions.
• Build new applications and enhance existing internal and external-facing products.
• Contribute to technical design, estimation and delivery planning within a Scrum team.
• Partner with developers, BAs, PMs and customers to agree effective solutions.
• Maintain code quality and test coverage through peer programming, code reviews and automated testing.
• Monitor post-deployment issues, provide application support and gather user feedback.
• Promote engineering best practices (SOLID, BDD, TDD, DDD).
• Support junior team members and contribute to concise technical documentation.

What you'll be doing

• Design applications around end-user needs and translate business requirements into clear, easy-to-use solutions

What you'll bring

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience using Microsoft .NET and/or Python to build microservices, web applications or console applications
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API or .NET Core, plus Flask or FastAPI
• Front-end experience with React and Angular
• Experience with Entity Framework or another ORM
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, RAG, Prompt Flow, Kubernetes, Helm and Elasticsearch or Azure AI Search
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Key Vault, App Configuration, virtual networks and API Gateway
• Understanding of CI/CD, QA automation and release automation
• Experience with testing tools such as MSTest, NUnit, unittest, Jest, mock frameworks, Postman or Newman
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, with AWS or Google Cloud also relevant
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, a NoSQL database and Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform
• Strong OOP foundations, Git knowledge and experience with Visual Studio
• Clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
