Job summary

UKG in Uttar Pradesh, India, seeks a skilled .NET/C# software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. You will build RESTful APIs, optimize SQL Server queries, and implement robust unit tests within Agile teams.

You will deploy on IIS, work on CI/CD pipelines, use GitHub for version control, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues while exploring AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise in .Net/C# programming language and extensive experience with Design patterns and principles (SOLID, OOP, common architectural patterns)
• SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance basics)
• Web API development
• Unit testing frameworks (e.g., Moq) and automation testing
• IIS deployment and configuration
• JavaScript / jQuery
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience implementing or integrating OAuth 2.0-based authentication and authorization in .NET applications.
• Version control tools like GitHub (Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests/code reviews)
• Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLM tools, including prompt engineering
• API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset
• Self-driven and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
