Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd. Bengaluru is seeking a Software Development Specialist to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, upgrade DevOps tools, and support end-to-end lifecycle from idea to release.

You will participate in daily client meetings, monitor stacks, and provide on-call rotation support, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab, and Atlassian toolchain. Ideal candidates bring strong Unix/Linux skills, ITIL principles, and hands-on experience with AWS EKS, MSK, Helm Charts,

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and containerization fundamentals.
• Expertise in AWS EKS, MSK, Gitlab, Helm Charts and other AWS tools/methodologies.
• Proficient in development or scripting languages (Java, Python, Bash, Groovy, Go)
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes commands, Kubernetes HPA, Container management.
• Good understanding of Maven, NPM, Python, Golang builds and tooling.
• Experience with ticket management tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
• Expertise in Monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace and log analysis tools like Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily client meetings and provide updates on tickets.
• Join production support calls to address DevOps related issues.

• Support the application's lifecycle from idea to release.
• Provide on-call rotation and support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Work on tickets related to CI/CD. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines Mandatory Hands-on experience- Gitlab, Atlassian tools- Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo.
2. Drive the upgrades/patching activities for DevOps Tools. Tools like Gitlab (Self Hosted), Nexus, Sonarqube.
3. Attend daily client meetings and provide updates on the tickets.
4. Attend/join production support calls to address DevOps related issues.
5. Actively monitoring the stacks, ensuring automated builds, deployments are functioning successfully
6. Support the application's lifecycle throughout from its idea to release.

Primary skills -
