Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, is seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on incident and change management, CI/CD tooling, and delivering reliable production support.

You will work with Jira, GitLab and Bamboo, coordinate across multiple teams, and implement preventive health checks. The ideal candidate has strong Unix/Linux, SQL/RDBMS, and scripting skills in Java, Python, and Go.

Qualifications

• L2/L3 support and application maintenance experience.
• Strong SQL and RDBMS knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams for critical issues.
• Experience deploying applications with Bamboo and GitLab.
• Strong Unix/Linux skills and CI/CD understanding.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Go scripting.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Familiar with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence and Bitbucket workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident, service requests and change management with timely resolution.
• Performance tuning and preventive health checks/tools for high availability.
• Provide technical solutions for complex production issues.
• Understand customer requirements and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Coordinate with users and business stakeholders for app requirements.
• Participate in daily/weekly client status calls and Jira/Incidents.
• Document SOPs, Runbooks per NT T Datas standards.
• Plan and drive application maintenance activities.
• Manage shift-related operations and client handling.
• Work on tickets related to CI/CD; design and maintain pipelines.
• Participate in deployments using Bamboo and GitLab.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Responsibilities

• Perform Incident, Service Requests and change Management ensuring timely resolution/implementation.
• Performance Tuning and Design/Develop Preventive health checks/tools ensuring high availability integration environment.
• Providing technical solutions to complex production issues ensuring timely resolutions.
• Understand customer requirements, develop and evaluate alternative systems solutions.
• Interacting with Application users and Business users coordinating on application requirements and providing software solutions.
• Participate in Daily/Weekly Status Calls with the client to discuss the action items on outstanding Jiras, Incidents, Service Requests and Changes, also provide the necessary solutions to clients queries.
• Document software systems, SOP's, Runbooks according to NTT Datas system standards, policies, and procedures.
• Plan, Participate and successfully handle/drive the application maintenance activities.
• Good understanding of Shift management, client handling.
• Work on tickets related to CI/CD. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Application Deployments using Bamboo, Gitlab

Skills

• Application Support and Maintenance experience - L2/L3 Support
• Hands on experience on SQL queries, must have RDBMS knowledge
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams over high visibility/critical issues.
• Good understanding application deployments using Bamboo, Gitlab.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge along with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in development or scripting languages (C,Java, Python, Bash, Groovy, Go)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes commands, Kubernetes HPA, Container management.
• Handson experience with Bamboo CICD, Defect management using Jira, know-how of confluence and Bitbucket/Stash.
• Experience with ticket management and resolution tools like Jira and ServiceNow
• Expertise in Monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace and log analysis tools like Splunk. Should be knowledgeable on creation of new dashboards and monitors and able to modify the existing ones.
