Job summary

Sunovaa Tech in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure. You will manage EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development, QA, security, and operations teams.

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform or CloudFormation, and monitoring via CloudWatch/OpenSearch is essential.

Job description

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with Azure as a secondary platform.
• Manage and support AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Integrate SonarQube and Nexus into CI/CD workflows for code quality and artifact management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards using CloudWatch and OpenSearch.
• Manage access, permissions, and security using AWS IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Automate infrastructure and operational activities using Python, Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Support and continuously improve DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, security, and cloud cost-monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and continuously improve DevOps practices.

• 35 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Strong practical experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with SonarQube and Nexus Repository.
• Good knowledge of AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for logging and monitoring.
• Good understanding of AWS IAM, secrets management, container security, and vulnerability scanning.
• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting; PowerShell is an advantage.
• Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform is preferred.
• Exposure to Azure and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Experience supporting production environments, incident management, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for automation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience with Databricks or other AI/ML platforms is a plus.
