Job summary

Codeflix Consultancy Services in India is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, tests, and deployments, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes, monitor systems, and collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations to improve release workflows and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux system administration.
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Proficient in Git and version control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud environments.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and resource utilization to ensure optimal system health.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to optimize deployment workflows and release processes.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control processes using Git.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, participate in incident response activities, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, configurations, and operational processes.
• Research and evaluate emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and software deployment practices.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and server management.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
