About the Role

This role is all about shaping the next generation of professionals in the biotech, pharma, and life sciences industries. As a Soft Skills Trainer, you'll be responsible for equipping students with the essential interpersonal and professional skills they need to succeed in their careers. You'll guide them through their journey from student to successful job candidate, helping with communication and presentation skills, interviews, and group discussions. You will design and deliver engaging training sessions, provide personalized feedback, and collaborate with teams to ensure the curriculum aligns with real-world industry demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging soft skills and interview preparation sessions for students pursuing biotech, pharma, and life science careers.
• Train students on communication skills, body language, grooming, confidence building, and presentation skills.
• Prepare students for HR and technical interviews, including mock interviews, resume reviews, and group discussion practice.
• Design and deliver customized training content and activities aligned with industry expectations.
• Provide individual feedback and mentoring to students to help them overcome communication or confidence gaps.
• Collaborate with academic and placement teams to align training modules with placement goals.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and feedback reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, HR, Psychology, or English).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Soft Skills / Communication / Employability Skills Trainer.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and motivational skills.
• Ability to connect with students and make sessions interactive and result-oriented.
• Experience conducting mock interviews and placement readiness sessions preferred.
