Job summary

Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream, Chennai-based, seeks a Social Media Manager / Content Lead to own our brand voice on Instagram and build a real audience. You will lead content creation, caption writing, and a small team, while managing Meta Ads campaigns with a quick feedback loop.

You’ll report to the MD, collaborate across departments, and drive campaigns for new flavours and stores. 3–5 years of brand social media experience is required; Tamil is a plus for our Chennai base.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years running social media for a brand you genuinely cared about.
• Premium F&B, café, D2C, fashion, or hospitality background is a plus.
• You can write a caption that makes a person tag a friend.
• Comfortable running Meta Ads Manager end-to-end.
• You understand the difference between vanity metrics and conversion metrics.
• You have a point of view on what looks premium vs what looks cheap.
• Fluent English; Tamil is a plus for the Chennai customer base.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly content calendar across Instagram (primary) and LinkedIn.
• Caption writing, hook writing, and maintain brand voice across posts.
• Lead a Content Creator / Videographer-Editor; hire them.
• Operate Meta Ads Manager campaigns: audience targeting, testing, budget.
• Community management with a 2-hour reply SLA during business hours.
• Weekly performance reviews with the MD every Tuesday morning.
• Influencer outreach, food bloggers, UGC sourcing.
• Launch campaigns for new flavours, new stores, and franchise lead-gen.

Social Media Manager / Content Lead - Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream (Chennai)

We're bringing our social media in-house. After years of outsourcing this to agencies, we've decided to build a team that lives and breathes the brand - and we're looking for the person to lead it.

A bit about us: Amadora is South India's leading premium artisanal ice cream brand. Since 2011, we've been making small-batch ice cream, sundaes, and frozen desserts across our stores in Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, supplied by our central production kitchen in Chennai. We care a lot about the craft.

The role, in one line: own Amadora's voice on Instagram, build a real audience, and ship work the brand and team are proud of.

What you'll own:

• ₹70,000 - ₹90,000/month CTC, depending on experience
