You run social media for Namma Spirits alongside the founding team: decide what we post, then shoot and cut most of it yourself.
Namma Spirits is a fast growing alcobev startup with two brands going to market right now, and social media is how most people will meet us for the first time.
Amari is India's first African IMFL whiskey. La Santé is India's first ready to drink mimosa: orange and citrus blossom, champagne style cork, built for brunches, poolside afternoons and unplanned day celebrations. Our line is simple: good days start with a good mimosa.
We are launching in Goa first, with a wider rollout across Puducherry, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu behind it. Nothing here is a legacy brand with twenty years of brand guidelines. The feed is being built from scratch, and you will be holding the camera for a lot of it.
Strategy
You are not only the person who posts. You decide what goes out and why.
- Build and run a monthly content calendar for Amari and La Santé: what goes live, on which platform, on which day.
- Own the plan platform by platform. Instagram leads, with YouTube Shorts and WhatsApp as support. If you think another platform deserves a place, make the case for it.
- Track what is working. Trending audio, formats and what other drinks and F&B brands in India and in Goa are doing. Bring three fresh ideas to every weekly review.
- Build content around our occasions: brunch, poolside, sunsets, festivals, long weekends, Goa season.
- Plan the content around launches and activations: new outlets, bar tie ups, tastings, events.
- Work inside the rules. Alcohol advertising in India is restricted, so a big part of the job is finding creative ways to build a brand without breaking category or platform guidelines. We will teach you this.
Video, shot and edited by you
This is the heart of the job. You shoot it, you cut it, you post it. Video editing is not optional here, it is the main skill we are hiring for.
- Shoot reels and short video: product, pours, bar and restaurant visits, events, behind the scenes, founder content, customer reactions.
- Edit everything yourself. Cuts, pacing, transitions, colour, text on screen, subtitles, trending audio and sound design. Phone shot and phone edited is completely fine when it looks good.
- Write the hook. The first two seconds decide whether the rest of the video gets watched.
- Write captions and on screen copy in our voice: light, warm, day drinking energy, never trying too hard.
- Turn one shoot into many pieces. A single bar visit should give us a reel, a set of stories and a photo post.
- Keep a usable library. Label and back up raw footage so we are never re shooting something we already have.
- Realistic volume once you settle in: around 12 to 15 finished reels a month across both brands, plus stories through the week.
Posting, community and numbers
- Publish on schedule and keep the feed alive. Stories through the week, reels on the plan.
- Answer comments and DMs, and flag anything that needs a founder to reply.
- Repost and coordinate creator content. Work with influencers, bartenders and outlets on collaborations and reshare what they post about us.
- Run the Goa market with our sales team. When our people are in outlets, bars and clubs, you get the content out of those visits.
- Report once a month on what worked: reach, views, saves, shares, follower growth, best and worst performing posts, and what you would change next month.
What you need to bring
These are the real requirements.
- You can edit video. Not willing to learn. You are already comfortable in at least one editor: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci or VN. Show us cuts you have made.
- Work to show. An Instagram page, a college or club account, a reel folder on your phone, anything. Three pieces are enough.
- A smartphone with a decent camera. Most of what we shoot starts there.
- Based in Goa, or ready to move. This is an in office role and the market is right outside the door.
- Instagram fluency. You know what is trending this week without having to look it up.
- Comfortable English and Hindi. Konkani is a real plus.
- You finish things. Small team, no one chasing you for a caption at 6pm.
- Legal drinking age. You will be working with alcohol brands and in licensed venues.
- No degree requirement and no prior agency experience needed. First internship is fine.
Bonus points
None of these are required. Any one of them moves your application up the pile.
- Photography, or a good eye for product and food styling
- Graphic design basics: Canva, Figma or Photoshop for stories and posts
- Comfortable being on camera yourself
- Motion graphics, or After Effects
- You have worked with or around F&B, cafes, bars, hotels or events
- You have run paid promotions on Instagram before
- You follow the Indian drinks and cocktail scene for fun
What you get out of it
- A brand you can point at. You will own the social presence of India's first RTD mimosa from launch. Very few interns get to say that.
- A real portfolio. Every reel you make is work you keep and show.
- Creative freedom. Bring the idea, make the case, shoot it. You are not waiting on three approvals to post a story.
- Direct access to the founders. You sit with the founding team and work with them every day, so there are no layers between you and the people making the decisions.
- Goa as your set. Beaches, bars, brunches, sunsets and a launch market in full swing.
- A stipend of ₹12,000 a month, paid monthly.
- A full time offer at the end of the three months if you have done the job well. We would rather grow our marketing team from the inside.
- A certificate and a reference either way.
