Job summary

G.R. Bathla & Sons (GRB Publication) in Meerut seeks a creative Content Creator & Social Media Executive to transform our books into engaging Reels and posts, not just reposting provided content.

You will understand our products, propose ideas, shoot and coordinate videos, stay current with trends, and build a consistent content calendar to grow our social media presence.

Qualifications

• Freshers with strong content creation skills are welcome.
• Confident in front of the camera and able to explain concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and ability to convey information simply.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging Reels and short-form videos around our books and products.
• Explain features, benefits and USP in a simple and engaging way.
• Generate fresh content ideas, concepts, trends and formats.
• Shoot, appear in and coordinate the production of Reels.
• Stay updated with Instagram trends, formats and sounds.
• Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
• Create posts, captions, stories and other social media content.
• Proactively suggest new ideas to improve our social media presence.
• Understand content performance and adjust strategy accordingly.

G.R. Bathla & Sons (GRB Publication) is a leading educational publishing company with a legacy of several decades. We publish books for students across CBSE, ICSE, ISC and various state boards, along with preparation material for competitive examinations like JEE and NEET.

We have a strong portfolio of educational products and are now looking to build a much stronger presence on social media through engaging, informative and creative content.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and energetic Content Creator & Social Media Executive who can take our products and turn them into engaging Reels, posts and other short-form content.

This is not a role where we simply want someone to post content that we give them.

We want someone who can understand our products, come up with ideas, create content and tell us what we should be doing differently on social media.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create engaging Reels and short-form videos around our books and products
• Understand our products and explain their features, benefits and USP in a simple and interesting way
• Come up with fresh content ideas, concepts, trends and formats
• Shoot, appear in and/or coordinate the production of Reels
• Stay updated with Instagram trends, formats, sounds and content styles
• Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
• Create posts, captions, stories and other social media content
• Proactively suggest new things we can try to improve our social media presence
• Understand what content performs well and continuously improve our strategy

Who are we looking for?

• Someone who is confident and comfortable in front of the camera
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain things clearly
• Creative mindset and a strong understanding of social media
• Someone who follows Instagram/Reels trends and understands what makes content engaging
• Basic video editing skills — CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.
• Someone who can take initiative rather than waiting for instructions
• Freshers with strong content creation skills are welcome
