Job Overview
We are looking for experienced SoC Pre-Silicon Verification & Emulation Engineers to support verification and validation activities for advanced server SoC platforms.
The role involves developing and executing verification strategies, building and maintaining SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments, automating validation flows, debugging complex SoC issues, and driving verification closure across pre-silicon and emulation environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SoC verification, emulation, Python automation, Debug Fabrics, system infrastructure validation, and server SoC validation flows .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for complex SoC and server platform features.
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments .
- Create test cases, checkers, scoreboards, assertions, functional coverage models, and regression suites.
- Execute and debug verification tests across pre-silicon and emulation platforms .
- Develop Python-based automation for test execution, regression management, result analysis, and debug workflows.
- Verify and validate Debug Fabric features including VISA, Trace, Observability, Trigger, and TAP/JTAG.
- Validate critical SoC infrastructure and system-control features including:
- Security
- RAS
- Fuse
- GPIO
- Clocking
- Power Management
- Debug
- Analyze simulation and emulation failures using waveform analysis and verification debug tools.
- Perform failure triage, root-cause analysis, and verification closure.
- Collaborate with Architecture, RTL Design, Firmware, Validation, and Platform teams to resolve complex SoC integration issues.
- Support regression execution, coverage analysis, and closure activities.
- Contribute to improving verification methodologies, automation frameworks, and global verification flows.

- Experience with SoC emulation platforms and emulation-based validation.
- Hands-on experience with Debug Fabrics , including:
- VISA
- Trace
- Observability
- Trigger
- TAP/JTAG
- Experience validating SoC platform infrastructure features such as Security, Reset, RAS, Fuse, GPIO, Clocking, and Power Management .
- Strong debugging skills with experience in waveform analysis, failure triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Understanding of Server SoC architecture and validation flows .
- Experience working with complex SoC integration and functional validation environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science
- VLSI
- or a related engineering discipline.
- 4–12 years of relevant industry experience in SoC Verification, Pre-Silicon Validation, and/or Emulation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global engineering teams.

- Server SoC / CPU validation
- Emulation-based verification
