Job summary

Mulya Technologies in Bengaluru invites a senior systems software engineer to design and develop the ML runtime support, including init/config management, observability, and monitoring.

You will build the hardware abstraction layer and drivers, tackle Linux kernel internals, IPC, and POSIX multithreading, with hands-on Python and shell scripting.

This role requires 11+ years in system software, with exposure to firmware security, JTAG debugging, and NVMe/FPGA tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in system software and drivers for deployed products.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals and IPC/System V.
• Proficient in POSIX libraries, multi-threading, semaphores, and process management.
• Experience in Linux memory management, NUMA and high availability.
• Hands-on Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with trusted firmware, secure boot, and boot loaders.
• Experience with JTAG and HW/SW debugging tools.
• 11+ years of hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop the system software required to support running the ML runtime and SW stack, system initialization configuration management system, observability, and monitoring. Develop the hardware abstraction layer and necessary drivers.

Required Skills

• Excellent C/C++ programming skills, prior experience of developing system software and drivers for products which have been deployed.
• Excellent knowledge in Linux kernel internals, IPC/System V.
• Experience developing software using POSIX libraries, multi-threading software, semaphores, process management.
• Experience in Linux memory management, NUMA, Linux High Availability.
• Hands on working experience in Python, Shell script
• Experience in trusted firmware, secure boot, boot loader, CMRT
• Jtag, HW/SW debugging tools
• Experience level: 11+ years

• Experience with writing Linux device drivers
