Job summary

Microland Limited seeks an experienced network professional to design, implement, and optimize FortiGate SD-WAN deployments across distributed environments. You will mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, and serve as the primary technical contact during major incidents to ensure reliable performance.

The role emphasizes configuring FortiGate Firewall policies, VPNs, and security services, with FortiGate WLAN and NSE qualifications as applicable, to strengthen enterprise security and operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in FortiGate SDWAN, deploying and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and robust performance across distributed environments.
• Knowledgeable in FortiGate Firewall, implementing and managing advanced firewall policies, VPN configurations, and security services.
• Knowledgeable in Cisco Routing and Switching, configuring and optimizing enterprise networks for high availability and security.
• Aware in FortiGate WLAN, configuring and monitoring wireless access with secure connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
• Act as primary technical contact during major incidents and escalations.
• Foster collaborative team culture and ensure timely resolution and post-incident analysis.
• Architect and optimize secure SD-WAN implementations for enterprise environments.

Knowledgeable in Cisco Routing and Switching, proficient in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructures to ensure high availability, security, and performance across complex environments.

Aware in FortiGate WLAN, skilled in configuring, monitoring, and supporting wireless access solutions while ensuring secure connectivity, optimized performance, and alignment with enterprise security policies.

Provides mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, fostering skill development through continuous knowledge sharing, structured handovers, and adoption of best practices.
