Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) Engineer for its Vadodara location. The role requires hands-on SPI/INtools experience within Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or EPC settings.

Key tasks include managing Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Datasheets, P&ID reviews, and generating Loop/Hook-up drawings while maintaining SPI databases and data merges. 3–5 years of relevant experience is expected.

Formación

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation or Instrumentation & Control required.
• 3–5 years of Oil & Gas/EPC project experience preferred.
• Proficient with SPI/INtools and SPI administration.
• Strong ability to interpret P&ID drawings and related docs.
• Knowledge of SQL/RDBMS and data Merge activities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain Instrument Index, I/O Lists and Datasheets.
• Interpret and review P&IDs for key projects.
• Create/modify Loop Drawings, Hook-up Drawings and Instrument Documentation.
• Maintain Junction Box wiring, cable schedules and I/O assignments.
• Administer SPI databases and perform data Merge activities.
• Support instrumentation design and project execution.

SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) Engineer

Location: Vadodara
Experience: 3-5 Years

We are seeking a skilled SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) Engineer with experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and maintenance of Instrument Index, I/O Lists, and Instrument Datasheets.
• Interpretation and review of P&IDs.
• Preparation of Loop Drawings, Hook-up Drawings, and Instrument Documentation.
• Creation and maintenance of Junction Box (JB) wiring, cable schedules, and I/O assignments.
• SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) database management and administration.
• Claim & Merge activities and database maintenance.
• Support engineering activities related to instrumentation design and project execution.
• Creation and modification of EDE views as per project requirements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools).
• Strong understanding of Instrumentation Engineering and Oil & Gas processes.
• Experience with Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Datasheets, Loop Drawings, and Wiring Diagrams.
• Knowledge of P&ID review and interpretation.
• Experience with SPI administration activities.
• Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS platforms.
• Exposure to Database Merge and Claim & Merge activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, or relevant discipline.
• Experience in EPC, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas projects.
